Abstract
A -state component in the particle has been extracted from angular distributions of tensor analyzing powers for at 9, 12, and 16 MeV. Exact finite-range distorted-wave Born-appproximation analyses including the effects of and mixing have been performed. The -state parameter , closely related to the asymptotic - to -state ratio for relative motion in the particle, requires a value of in order to fit the tensor analyzing power data.
