An Evaluation of the Analgetic Activity of the Dromoran Isomers

Abstract

The relative analgetic potencies of the optical isomers and race-mate of Dromoran in normal human subjects were determined by the Hardy-Wolff-Goodell technic. It was found that all the analgetic activity of Dromoran resides in the l-isomer and that the d-isomer is able to diminish the analgetic activity of the l-isomer of Dromoran and also morphine.
