Abstract
Hemagglutination inhibition (HI) tests with human sera demonstrated HI antibodies for EEE virus in 2.7% and for WEE virus in 2.4%. In some cases these antibodies might be of diagnostic value. In the sera of fowl HI antibodies were found in 25.9% for EEE virus and 14.8% for WEE virus. These findings are considered important for future epidemiological investigations of the spread and natural reservoirs of the 2 viruses in Yugoslavia. Keywords
