Determination of Fumigant Concentrations in Gas-Air Mixtures by Hydrogen Flame Ionization Detector

Abstract
A preliminary evaluation of the hydrogen flame ionization detector for the analysis of fumigants in gas-air mixtures was made. Parts per million detected in a four component gas mixture using a 0.25 ml sample were 0.51 for methyl bromide; 1.02 for carbon tetrachloride; 0.39 for ethylene dichloride; and 0.34 for ethylene dibromide.
