Abstract
An analysis of the dynamical spin states of alloys typified by palladium-iron is given. It is shown that the spin-wave spectrum of Doniach and Wohlfarth is valid only over a very small momentum range. In general, the dynamical states are spin waves but with finite damping. The enhancement of the electronic specific heat is calculated. The results are in reasonable agreement with experiment, where the comparison is possible. Keywords
