Abstract
With the aid of penicillin, a strain of pleuropneumonia-like organism has been isolated from a culture of Hemophilus influenzae. This strain could be kept in continuous cultivation. Colonies of similar organisms were seen in 3 other cultures of H. influen-zae, but their propogation in pure culture was not successful. Keywords
