Abstract
The principal emphasis was placed on a comparison of the oils containing a large amt. of sulfonatable materials with the highly refined oils, or those with a small sulfonatable fraction. It is concluded that oils with a high % of sulfonatable materials tend to increase respiration more than the highly refined oils. There was, however, some inconstancy in this generalization, the reason for which could not be determined.
