Abstract
Carbowax 20M treated with 2-nitroterephthalic acid used as the liquid phase for gas-liquid chromatography gives sharply resolved peaks for several partially and fully methylated methyl glucopyranosides. The detector response of the standard compounds shows that the absence of a C6 methoxyl group lowers the response of a flame ionization detector. Keywords
