Abstract
A follow-up study was performed on 690 white diabetic patients 2 to 5 years after their blood had been analyzed for lipoprotein and cholesterol to determine if these lipid measures had any predictive value for development of future cardiovascular complications. The work was done in parallel to the national project in which 15,000 normal persons were followed for 1 to 2 years.5Keywords
