Note on the synthesis of the acetic acid analogue of thyroxine

Abstract

The synthesis of 3,5-diiodo-4-(3[image],5[image]-diiodo-4[image]-hydroxyphenoxy)-phenylacetic acid, the acetic acid analog of thyroxine, is described.
