Abstract
Photochemical reaction of ethyl azidoformate with dihydropyran gave a good yield of the very reactive aziridine III. The thermal reaction between the two compounds took a completely different course, via triazoline XI to 2-hydroxy-2-ethoxycarbonamidotetrahydropyran XIII.Keywords
