Abstract
In young children, DRL 10 sec. and DRL 18 sec. schedules of snack reinforcement generated and maintained low levels of responding which, when compared to the animal and human DRL literature revealed efficient temporal responding. This low behavioral baseline was not impaired by extinction operations or by the introduction of a second response manipulandum intended to measure collateral behavior. Keywords
