Abstract
Phospholipids may be preserved for study in paraffin sections by fixing the tissue 1 to 3 days at room temperature in 2.5% potassium dichromate dissolved in 5% mercuric chloride. After this dichromate-sublimate fixative and paraffin embedding, the phospholipids are readily stained with Sudan black. Keywords
