The K-conversion coefficient of the 35.6 keV transition in 115In

Abstract
The K-conversion coefficient of the 35.6 keV transition in 115In has been re-measured by a coincidence technique employing Ge(Li) detectors. Previous measurements differ widely among themselves, a factor of almost three existing between extreme values. The present result, 8.50 ± 0.35, which is free from many of the uncertainties present in previous work, is slightly lower than the value of 9.2 given by the self-consistent-field calculations of Hager and Seltzer.
