Abstract
The photochemic oxidation of nicotine in the presence of methylene blue produces a compd. which has not been completely characterized. A similar, if not identical, compd. has been isolated by Frankenburg (1948) from the alkaloids of fermented tobacco. The method of production and properties of the compd. are descr. in detail. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
