Of great interest in all considerations of manned flight into space is the new environment that man will encounter. During such flights we may expect to learn more about the environment itself. But we may also expect to learn more about man, as he faces and copes with that environment. In the course of time, we may expect to learn how to live with the new environment or, rather, to live in spite of it.
