An attempt has been made to experimentally locate the triplet state of borazine. Borazine vapor was added to benzene vapor excited at 2580 Å. Borazine vapor has no effect on the first excited singlet state of benzene but does strongly quench the triplet state. A comparison of the experimental findings with theoretical predictions has been carried out.
