Abstract
In this lead paper, I map a road of a journey that can lead us from evolutionary consciousness to guided social evolution. In agreement with Csanyi—quoted above—I take the ‘strong hypothesis’ position in the current debate of the evolutionary research community. The core idea of the paper is that, although the future is influenced by the past and present, it is not determined by what is or what has been: It remains open to purposeful intervention that can be accomplished by the application of the intellectual technology of systems design, guided by evolutionary images. Keywords
