Inconsistency of Cubic Boson-Boson Interactions

Abstract
It is shown that there does not exist a ground state for a system of spin zero bose fields coupled only by local interactions involving three powers of the fields. Thus these interactions alone are not suitable for a model of interacting fields.Keywords
