Abstract
Scales for assessing family setting and relations, peer activities and involvement, and personal perceptions of self and environment are describedforMexicanAmericanyouth Reliability and predictive validity of each of the 10 scales describing these doanins are presented, based on 700 youth admitted to drug abuse prevention programs in Texas. They have also been included in longitudinal outcome studies ofa sample of these youth, and they appear to be applicable to other research settings.Keywords
