Abstract
Resistivity, susceptibility, and superconducting transition temperatures Tc have been measured for the Ce(Rh1−xRux)2 system. Tc is depressed from ∼6 K for CeRu2 to zero at ∼Ce(Rh0.5Ru0.5)2. Striking violations of Nordheim’s and Matthiessen’s rules are observed for the resistivity in not only Ce(Rh1−xRux)2 but also La(Rh1−xRux)2 suggesting that large changes in d‐electron spin fluctuations may be occurring. Striking variations in the susceptibility behavior are also observed across the Ce(Rh1−xRux)2 system. Keywords
