Abstract
Gold was deposited on Pt(100) and platinum was deposited on Au(100) single-crystal surfaces. Cyclohexene dehydrogenation rates were enhanced about fivefold relative to clean Pt(100) by just one monolayer of gold on Pt(100) and also by ordered platinum layers on inactive Au(100).Keywords
