THE DERMATOLOGIC AND SYSTEMIC MANIFESTATIONS OF CHLORPROMAZINE HYPERSENSITIVITY Their Clinical Significance and Management

Abstract

This paper presents the various dermatologic and systemic manifestations of Thorazine (chlorpromazine) hypersensitivity encountered by the author in 500 patients. It indicates that these side effects are allergic reactions related to the chemical structure of Thorazine. Emphasis is placed on the clinical significance and management of these reactions, particularly jaundice and agranulocytosis.
