Abstract
Urographic and sonographic findings are described in 4 children with acute focal bacterial nephritis. Two cystograms and 1 ileogram in 3 patients showed ureteral reflux which supports animal data suggesting a retrograde route of infection. Radiographic findings in this condition can mimic a renal abscess or neoplasm and serial uroradiologic studies are useful to demonstrate response to antibiotic therapy. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
