Abstract
We consider the decay . The vector rate may be estimated with the aid of unitary symmetry and the generalized conserved-vector-current hypothesis of Cabibbo. We obtain 1.07× and 0.70× for electronic and muonic decay, respectively. A Goldberger-Treiman relation may be written down for the axial-vector matrix elements, but there does not appear to be enough information to estimate the axial-vector decay rates.
