Abstract
From the comparison of the physical properties of the (TMTTF)2X salts (mainly X = BF4, ClO4, PF6 and Br), the role of the counterion ordering is discussed and the intrinsic behaviour of the TMTTF chains is evidenced. Then, a parallel is drawn with the properties of the selenium analogs of these saltsKeywords
