Abstract
Lyman α and Lyman β from excited He+ formed in 60–4000‐eV (c.m.) He2+‐Li collisions have been observed using a crossed‐beam apparatus. The data show that He+(3l) is the predominant reaction product. The maximum measured cross section for production of He+(3l) is ∼11 Å2 at about 1300 eV relative energy. Keywords
