Energies and Angular Distributions of Neutrons fromBe9(d, n)B10

Abstract
The angular distributions of neutrons from Be9(d, n)B10, leading to the five lowest states of B10, have been measured at a bombarding energy Ed=0.945 Mev. These distributions are compared with previous data for Be9(d, p)Be10. In both cases there is evidence for the deuteron stripping process. Interpretation of the distributions is discussed. Excitation energies are obtained for the B10 states.
