Abstract
L. A patient with hemorrhagic tendency showed prolongation of the bleeding time, severe deficiency of antihemophilic globulin and auto-immune thrombocytopenic purpura. The last feature responded to splenectomy. 2. Transfusion of fresh plasma containing AHG and transfusion of viable platelets failed to shorten the bleeding time. Its prolongation seemed related to a primary vascular defect, documented by alterations of the vessels visible under capilary micro-scope.Keywords
