Mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome

Abstract

Mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome represents a series of clinical findings observed primarily in Japanese children. The disease now appears to be migrating to the USA. The cervical lymph nodes, skin and mucus membranes are affected. Although the course is usually benign and self-limiting, a number of deaths have resulted from coronary artery disease.
