Abstract
Oscillations periodic in an energy equal to that of the LO phonon have been observed in the excitation spectrum for the bound exciton complexes in ZnSe and CdS. The data is interpreted in terms of direct or phonon-assisted generation of free excitons and subsequent creation of bound exciton complexes. Keywords
