Abstract
A kinetic calculation is presented for the electron thermal conductivity in dense plasmas, where the Spitzer-Haaumlrm theory is not valid. A simple expression is obtained for the generalized Coulomb logarithm which allows an extrapolation of classical results into the strongly coupled regime. Keywords
