Abstract
Among 14 new anthracycline antibiotics, aclacinomycins isolated from Streptomyces galilaeus MA144-M1, aclacinomycin-A showed strongest activity against mouse leukemia L-1210, sarcoma 180 6C3HED lymphosarcoma by oral and i.p. administration and had lower cardiac toxicity than adriamycin in hamsters.
