Ambient Temperature and Mortality From Unintentional Cocaine Overdose

Abstract
COCAINE-RELATED morbidity and mortality constitute a significant public health problem.1 Approximately 8000 drug abuse deaths occur in the United States each year, about half of which involve cocaine use.2 In addition, there are more than 400000 emergency department visits for drug abuse, many of which involve cocaine.3
