Abstract
Karyotypic changes involving a deletion and a translocation of certain sex-linked tumor-inducing loci of the platyfish,Platypoecilus (Xiphophorus) maculatus, have been investigated. The effects of these chromosome aberrations on tumor formation and viability of the fish are discussed. Keywords
