Abstract
Two-dimensional black hole solutions of string-motivated two-dimensional (2D) gravity are studied. It is shown that the main results of 4D black hole physics (such as the uniqueness theorems, mass formulas, and thermodynamical analogy) have their counterparts in the 2D case. The existence of static solutions describing black holes with tachyon hairs is proved. It is shown that the entropy of a charged 2D black hole is 2πexp(ΦH), where ΦH is the value of the dilation field at the black hole horizon.
