Abstract
Two variables significantly affected Rod-and-frame Test performance. Low illumination level gave significantly larger RFT scores than “normal” room lighting. S-paced RFT trials during which the rate of rod rotation was determined by S‘s rate of responding yielded lower RFT scores than constant E-paced trials. Possible interpretations of data were briefly discussed as well as important implications for numerous investigations that have compared distributions of RFT scores across studies. Keywords
