Abstract
Dispersion of confluent monolayers of BHK21 cells with ethylenediaminetetraacetate yields a material that inhibits cell proliferation, whereas identical extraction of polyoma-virus-transformed cells provides material which enhances cellular proliferation. The material was partially characterized. Keywords
