Abstract
A complete ecological picture in relation to the habitat of A. gambiae var. melas of the Freetown Estuary, Sierra Leone, is given. Bionomics of the mosquito, meterological data and methods of control of the breeding of mosquitoes are presented. Complete protocols are given in a detailed appendix.Keywords
