Abstract
Kinetic Consideration of Interferon ActionIn addition to looking at the site at which inferieron acts in the intracellular cycle of infection, and the effect of interferon on the metabolism of cells, one can study the relations between degree of inhibition and the concentration of interferon used to treat cells, as well as the duration of treatment. Some consideration of such dose–response relations is essential to any effective definition of a measure or titer of interferon, and a more detailed examination may yield information concerning the kinetics of cell-interferon interaction. The concepts of interferon titers and then the kinetic relations . . .Keywords
