Abstract
The presence of testicular tissue in the eunuchoid patient modified the effectiveness of testosterone in 6 pre-adolescent eunuchoid patients who varied in age from 21-33 yrs. Patients in whom no testicular tissue was demonstrable reacted more readily and required less testosterone. Subcut. pellets of pure testosterone were employed. When oral methyl testosterone was used, the anatomical development was advanced to the biological limits and compared favorably with the subcutaneous implants. Laboratory studies of excretion curves indicated that the clinical response of the patient was the only available criterion for dosage at the present time. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
