Abstract
The brains of normal young male and female rats were tested for histological distribution of acid-phosphatase activity by a freezing-drying technic. Enzymatic phosphate liberation from glycero-phosphate occurs mainly in neuronal cytoplasm, adenosine triphosphate cleavage mainly in glial and neuronal nuclei and adenosine monophosphate splitting mainly in nerve fibers. Keywords
