Descriptions of the Immature Stages of Imported Puncturevine Weevils, Microlarinus lareynii and M. lypriformis

Abstract
The egg, larval, and pupal stages of Microlarinus lareynii (Jacquelin du Val) and M. lypriformis (Wollaston) are described. Diagnostic characters useful in differentiating these 2 species are the color of the eggs, the number of setae in the spiracular area of the mesothorax of the larvae, and the setal armature of the femora of the pupae.
