Drinking patterns in the rat following water deprivation and subcutaneous injections of sodium chloride.

Abstract

The temporal pattern of water ingestion during a one-hour drinking period of animals on 23-hour water deprivation and those with ad lib water but injected with subcutaneous hypertonic saline solution immediately before the test hour are compared.
