Abstract
This paper deals primarily with the concept of color space as a three-dimensional representation of the means for specifying color. It shows the relationship between the various sets of primaries used by the NTSC in its mathematical description of its form of color and transmission and points out that the I and Q axes, together with Illuminant C, comprise in themselves a set of primaries in color space. This set has been termed the Transmission Primaries. Keywords
