Abstract
Considerable concern is being felt at the increasing incidence of nongonococcal urethritis which continues to rise. A method of treatment with sulfadimethoxine along and in addition to streptomycin is described. Results obtained produced 25.5% cures with the drug alone, 80% cures in a second investigation with sulfadimethoxine and streptomycin and in a third investigation in which 215 patients were treated, the cure rate varied from 79% to 84.2%. These results must be considered most satisfactory.
