Abstract
Use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in infants with congenital heart disease is becoming more frequent. We present the first reported use of balloon atrial septostomy during ECMO support and describe possible complications of such procedures unique to ECMO therapy.Keywords
