Abstract
The effects of angiography by means of sodium acetrizoate injected into the carotid artery of 41 cats, as shown by the lowering and slowing of the blood pressure and heart rate, respectively, are discussed. The changes appear to be caused by the action of the contrast medium upon vasomotor structures in the brain. The significance of the bradycardia upon the blood pressure is considered.Keywords
