Abstract
The Upper Old Red Sandstone Cothall Limestone in Morayshire shows the concretionary and laminar structures typical of a mature calcrete. The calcrete is locally silicified and includes length-slow chalcedony, typical of alkaline environments. Segregations of barium-rich agaric mineral occur in the calcrete.Keywords
