Implant Biotelemetry and Microelectronics

Abstract
Implant blotelemetry is a technique of blomedical Instrumentation for conveying Information from within the body of an unrestrained living organism to a remote location through a wireless transmission linkage. Implant electronics may be used for the electrical stimulation of biologic systems as a remotely controlled circuit for stimulating heart, bladder, nerve, or limb muscle. Explanations and schematic diagrams of these closed-loop Implant systems are presented.
